Booking Fiasco Part 2 - Kitty Productions

Kinia had been hoping to surprise her boyfriend with a weekend away. The problem was that he had already told her that he was working that particular weekend. Despite knowing this, she went ahead and booked the accommodation anyway.

When he later asked whether the booking was refundable, Kinia made matters worse by lying to him. Rather than admitting what she had done, she tried to cover her tracks by phoning his office and asking whether one of his colleagues could take his shift.

Of course, the plan fell apart. The weekend couldn’t go ahead, they had lost the money they had paid for the accommodation, and Kinia had compounded the situation by lying and then involving his workplace in an attempt to conceal what she had done.

He was understandably angry and disappointed. Kinia had ignored what he had told her, made a decision that affected them both, and then dug herself into an even deeper hole by refusing to tell the truth. There was going to be a serious conversation about her behaviour and the consequences of her choices.
